Board the transfer boat to Le Journey Elegance Cruise. A welcome drink is served as you check in, and the Cruise Manager gives a safety briefing and an introduction to the cruise schedule.
13:20 Enjoy a delightful lunch
Savor a delicious lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of Lan Ha Bay-an extension of Halong Wonder which is much quieter and has fewer tourists. We will pass the famous Turtle Islet, Candle Islet and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.
15:30 Explore Tra Bau Area
Le Journey Elegance Cruise will instead operate swimming activities in the Tra Bau area-a destination evaluated as safe, scenic, and ideal for relaxation and immersion in nature. From this point, tenders will transfer guests deeper into the ranger lagoon, visit floating swim platforms, and continue onward to Frog Pond (Ao Ech) for sightseeing and a serene appreciation of the bay’s natural beauty.

A romantic candlelit dinner served on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions) featuring gourmet Vietnamese cuisine crafted by the cruise’s 5-star chefs. After dinner, you can participate in activities such as watching a traditional Ao Dai performance and Bamboo Dancing.
20:00-22:00 SPECIAL EVENING ACTIVITIES

Start your day with a Taichi session on the sundeck, taking in the tranquility of the bay. For a chance to see the sunrise, wake up between 5:30 – 6:00 AM, with guidance from the crew.

07:15 Depart for Quan Y Cave
Transfer by tender to Gia Luan Port and then by car (20 minutes) to Quan Y Cave.
08:00 Explore Quan Y Cave
Quan Y Cave is a unique site that serves both as a historical relic and a powerful reminder of a heroic wartime era. Built inside a limestone mountain, the cave once functioned as a secret field hospital during the resistance war against the Americans. It was fully equipped with treatment rooms, a recovery area, and even a cinema for wounded soldiers.

The transfer boat will take guests across Lan Ha Bay to the Viet Hai village. From there, guests will enjoy a short 5km bike ride to Viet Hai Village-a small, secluded village nestled within ancient forests and surrounded by the towering mountains of Cat Ba National Park. This area has become popular among foreign visitors but has yet to attract the majority of tourists, preserving its untouched, pristine charm.

14:00 Swimming at Ba Trai Dao Beach
The transfer boat will take guests to a secluded beach area, very peaceful and with few tourists. Ba Trai Dao Beach-the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay-features soft white sands, where you can freely swim or enjoy kayaking activities.
15:00 Return to Le Journey Elegance Cruise
Back on Le Journey Elegance, where guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool on the third deck and admire the stunning sunset over Lan Ha Bay or experience therapeutic massage services right on board.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
